Klein Genot Wine & Country Estate is nestled in a peaceful corner of the Franschhoek Valley. It is here where Feng Shui philosophy meets farm-style hospitality, in breathtaking surroundings to calm and soothe the senses.

Cradled by the Franschhoek and Stoney Brook Rivers, and situated under the watchful gaze of the majestic Franschhoek Mountains, Klein Genot is a place where time seems to stand still for guests in need of a perfect break. Thoughtful service and the pampering beauty treatments at the Klein Genot Wellness Spa, which leave the body and soul refreshed and the spirit regenerated, are part and parcel of the sensory experience guests can expect. Breakfast is at leisure, and guests can enjoy an afternoon tea of freshly home-made baked cakes, canapés and sandwiches in the gazebo, lounge or the luxury of their own suite. Each suite is individually decorated with original art works, hand-quilted French bedcovers and Persian carpets, and complemented with state of the art bathrooms with walk-in showers, twin basins and slick contemporary finishes.

With just over 20 hectares of red varietal vineyards, Klein Genot proudly rolled out its maiden harvest of 2005, aiming to make young, modern wines featuring an eminently spicy Shiraz, fruity Merlot, delightfully complex Cabernet Sauvignon, and a superb Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, named Black Swan Reserve.
