Mozambique – Beach Holiday Special Packages

Hi there,

Today I would like to share some new packages I have for a fabulous beach holiday in Mozambique.

Mozambique is an exotic paradise of long sandy beaches fringed by swaying palms, turquoise seas, a mix of fascinating cultures, and a perfect example of laid-back tropical island life. The country borders on South Africa and Swaziland to the south, Zimbabwe to the west, and Zambia, Malawi and Tanzania to the north. It is fast becoming the rising star of African tourism and is a paradise that should be on everyone’s “must do” list!

Simola Golf & Country Estate, Garden Route – Winter Stay & Play Package

In a week that saw South African Charl Schwartzel winning the US Masters golf tournament, and South Africa being named as the host for the 2012 World Golf Championship for the next 5 years, I think I should concentrate on golf in this Friday’s blog post! Without a doubt these are two major milestones in the history of professional golf in South Africa, and I’m sure that all sports loving South Africans are extremely excited about these recent events.

On that note, I would like to make you aware of a fabulous winter package being offered by Simola Golf & Country Estate in Knysna, situated along South Africa’s famed Garden Route. Considering that one round of golf at Simola can cost as much as R750.00 per person, this package is a very good deal.

Victoria Falls – Zambia & Zimbabwe Great Value Packages

Recently I had a UK client approach me as she was struggling to find a well-priced package to visit Victoria Falls. It seems that there is a lack of affordable packages being advertised in the UK at the moment, and naturally I did my best to help her find something suitable and within her budget.

As Indaba is fast approaching in May, most suppliers are keeping their rates and packages confidential until after then. I will have some exciting packages and deals available after Indaba, but in the meantime I thought I would share these great Victoria Falls packages with my clients. Proving that visiting one of the natural wonders of the world does not have to cost the earth!

Cape Winelands accommodation – Wederom Boutique Winery

I had the opportunity recently to attend my friend’s wedding at Wederom Boutique Winery just outside the town of Robertson, part of the extensive Cape Wine Route. My fiance and I stayed for 2 nights in their Hanepoot Huisies – 2 beautifully furnished apartments with balconies, which were converted from old Silos. Wake-up in the morning to the sounds of turtle doves in the trees, and enjoy fresh coffee on your balcony while looking out over the peaceful valley.

The Garden Route – 4 Day Scheduled Panoramic Tour

Hi there,

The Garden Route is one of South Africa’s favourite and most scenic holidays destinations. Lush forests, sandy beaches and breathtaking scenery is a hallmark of this region, and towns like Oudtshoorn, Mossel Bay, George, Wilderness, Sedgefield, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay are well worth exploring. I always recommend to my clients that they take time to explore this area, as it’s one of my favourite places and I have many fond memories of my time spent living and working there during my hotel industry days. Whale season in South Africa – the Southern Right Whale

Seeing that it’s raining today in Cape Town and winter is peeking around the corner, I thought that I would write a bit about South Africa’s winter visitor – the Southern Right Whale. I personally look forward to them arriving every year along our beautiful coastline, and take a great interest in their antics because I feel privileged to have these majestic creatures visiting us on an annual basis.
